Only today and tomorrow left in NaNoWriMo, and I’m sitting at around 47,000 words. Almost there! We’re traveling Friday night to visit family in Iowa City, so that basically means that I need to get about 3,000 words written TODAY! AAAAAUGH!!!

I can probably do it. Yeah, that’s right. I think I might just be able to WIN this thing!

The Central Iowa NaNo-ers were on the Channel 13 news last night. I was sad that I couldn’t be there with them. I haven’t been able to make any of the write-ins this month, which means I haven’t enjoyed the community aspect of NaNo pretty much at all. I mean to fix that next year. But I’m proud to be a part of this community and the group of people involved in the Des Moines area are a top-notch crowd. I hope most of them return next year so I can enjoy their camaraderie even more.
