I had started writing it then, while on a plane on one of the many overseas business trips I took in 2011. Since I&#8217;ve hardly been able to squeeze in any drawing time this week, I just finished up the last few stanzas the other day so I could present it here, to you, below the fold.<\/p>\n<p>Next week, likely back to more drawings.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen are watching and waiting.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen see all that you do.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen are horrid and hating.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen are coming for you.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen are throwing and shaking.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen are wicked and cruel.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen are flailing and quaking.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen are coming for you.<\/p>\n<p>They are lifting and hauling, denying what\u2019s true.<\/p>\n<p>They are scraping and mauling, and nothing you do.<\/p>\n<p>Can stay their thirsting, hungering queue.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen, they are coming for you.<\/p>\n<p>They are building and stacking, destroying what\u2019s new.<\/p>\n<p>They are breaking and cracking, preparing for you.<\/p>\n<p>Preparing a feast for their Endermen stew.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen, they are coming for you.<\/p>\n<p>The Endermen, they are coming for you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lest anyone think that this is nothing more than an art blog, for my week five creative project, I&#8217;m submitting this little poem, based on the 1.8 update to Minecraft, which introduced us all to the terrifying Endermen.
