All I really wanted was a WYSIWYG editor that could help cut the amount of time I spend updating my HTML-based <a href=\"http:\/\/uploads.evilavatarcomics.com\/DoctorSetebos\/WiiDB\">Wii game tracker &#8220;database&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, when I have an update to a game on one of my pages, I have to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Browse to the file folder<\/li>\n<li>Right-click to edit<\/li>\n<li>Make the necessary edits<\/li>\n<li>Save file<\/li>\n<li>Open FTP connection to evilavatarcomics.com upload center<\/li>\n<li>Copy file to server<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s an annoying process, and if I have more than one change to make a day, it gets tedious to the point that I just stop updating it for long periods of time.<\/p>\n<p>Enter Nvu. Not only is it a WYSIWYG HTML editor, but it also has a built-in FTP utility. So, instead of the process I outlined above, I now:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Load up Nvu<\/li>\n<li>Connect to site<\/li>\n<li>Make the necessary edits<\/li>\n<li>Publish updated page<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Done. Yeah, <i>loving it<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>With so many people moving to blogs and MySpace\/Facebook for their personal sites these days, the time of having to manually edit your own webspace is quickly drawing to a close.
