Brawl offline?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Is it just me, or does everyone find this a bit strange?<\/p>\n<p>When Nintendo announced <a href=\"http:\/\/wii.nintendo.com\/software_batallionwars.jsp\">Battalion Wars 2<\/a> last summer, they confirmed online multiplayer immediately.<\/p>\n<p>When Nintendo announced <a href=\"http:\/\/e3.nintendo.com\/wii_mariokart.html\">Mario Kart Wii<\/a> Wednesday, they confirmed online multiplayer immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Smash Bros. Brawl was announced over a year ago, and even today &#8212; approximately 4 months from its release date &#8212; and we <i>still<\/i> get <a href=\"http:\/\/gonintendo.com\/?p=21195\">no confirmation<\/a> of any online multiplayer.<\/p>\n<p>Is anyone else a little unsettled by that? The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that they&#8217;re dropping online multiplayer from Brawl.
