A week of competition between our two strips, where we&#8217;d both have to write six days of material on some everyday, innocuous, uninspiring subject matter? Say&#8230;plastic coffee cup lids?<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In the other: Bill Barnes and Gene Ambaum of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.overduemedia.com\/blog.aspx?post=773\">Unshelved<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fileflood.googlepages.com\/quote.jpg\" align=\"left\" \/><i>It&#8217;s true. We did in fact challenge Sheldon&#8217;s Dave Kellett to see who could mine the most comedy out of the seemingly banal and unfunny subject of plastic coffee cup lids. All I can say is, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Come back April 2 and find out if it was.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>On April 2nd, there can be only one. My money&#8217;s on Dave.
